Q. I've read a lot about tankless water heaters. What do you think?

A. Tankless water heaters do work and save energy. We have found that to properly install and ensure adequate hot water, the initial cost is too expensive to make a good investment in Wisconsin.

Q. Why don't your wervice plumbers bill us when they do the work?

A. We want to establish a relationship with our customers. When our plumbers do the plumbing and our office staff does the billing, our people do what they do best! Also, when we mail out a bill and you pat us in a timely manner, that trust is developed on both sides.

Q. We are leaving on vacation. Should we turn the water off?

A. Yes, especially in the winter months. We recommend turning off the main valve by the meter in the city and at the pressure tank in the country. Also, homes in the country need to shut off the electrical supply to the pump. We have had too many calls from folks who experienced a toilet that ran for days or a pipe freeze and burst or a leak that has caused so much damage for something so easily fixed.
